We had a fantastic and relaxing stay at Glass House Mountains Ecolodge. The surrounding nature was breathtaking, especially during our hike around the mountain. The views of the glasshouse mountains were absolutely spectacular. The staff were incredibly friendly and made our experience even better. We couldn't have asked for more.

A lovely place to spend a few days in the countryside. Quite rustic and quirky but still comfortable. Excellent location for walking and scenic drives. Staff and management very friendly and helpful.
We tended to get woken up by various noisy birds. Wasn't really a problem but be warned that being in the countryside isn't the same as being quiet!

The location
Price for standard room was not good. Small rooms or the price

Peace, quirky buildings, location, friendly people
No binoculars for birdwatching, not clear that it was self-catering when we booked, "mountain view" was a little misleading as one had to stand right next to the window to see the mountain

As a couple looking for a weekend getaway, we were blown away by Glass House Mountains Ecolodge. The location at the base of Mt. Tibrogargan was perfect for our exploration of the area. The BBQ area was excellent, and we loved having breakfast on the deck with its stunning views. The owner, Keith, provided personalized table service and created a lovely atmosphere. The cabins were outstanding, and the nature walks and scenic views were top-notch. We can't wait to return and share this hidden gem with our friends and family.
Would recommend this hotel.

Interesting place where you wake up to the song of birds and insects. You can cook your own meals in a refurbished train carriage.

Loved the peaceful and scenic location, perfect for a relaxing getaway during the holiday season. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, especially the kitchen which had everything we needed.- The quirky and charming atmosphere with the unique sculptures and railway cars added a special touch to the experience.
The presence of cockroaches disturbed our sleep throughout the night. The absence of staff at the reception on multiple occasions was frustrating and made it difficult to get assistance when needed.

What a gorgeous place! We arrived a little later than we intended and had forgotten to let the manager know but had a warm friendly welcome. A huge thunderstorm shortly after our arrival added to the atmosphere of the place. The kids were delighted with the railway carriage kitchen and dining room. Lovely views of the nearby mountains and lots of birds. A perfect place to stay before visiting Australia Zoo.

We stayed at Glass House Mountains Ecolodge for a weekend getaway. Keith, the friendly host, showed us to our lovely lodge, the Church, complete with a cozy fireplace and comfortable bed upstairs. The lodge had everything we needed, including a kitchenette and bathroom with a small heater. The property offered self-guided walks through the trees and a common kitchen area with all the necessary amenities. The Queenslander train carriage was beautifully decorated and had a kitchenette with extra utensils, plus stunning views of the gardens. The breakfast provided a variety of options and a fruit platter. The location was perfect, with easy access to the nearby mountains, attractions, and hinterland towns. The whole place had great character and unique charm.
Would recommend this hotel.
